Old Mill Cottage is a detached riverside property located in the quiet village of Croftamie on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. This charming cottage has been finished to a high standard and enjoys lovely views over rolling fields. The spacious decking area overlooks the river "Catter Burn" and is an ideal vantage point for watching the abundance of local wildlife. As an added bonus, free riverside fishing is available from within the grounds of the cottage and there is direct access onto open fields. Local amenities are available in Croftamie, including a pub renowned for its delicious food and a number of small shops. About the local area The surrounding area is well known for its pretty villages and excellent choice of shops, pubs and restaurants. Leisure facilities can be found within a three mile radius of the property. The area is also renowned for its abundance of walking and cycling trails - the perfect way to unwind and to immerse oneself in this most scenic of Scottish regions. Loch Lomond, one of the great lochs of Scotland, is only 7 miles away at Balmaha. A variety of boat trips across and around this majestic stretch of water are available and it is also possible to hire a boat/kayak or buy a fishing permit for the day. The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park offers plenty of hill walking, ranging from a brisk ramble to more serious Munro "bagging". Golfers are also well catered for as there are numerous golf courses in the area. Balloch (just 9 miles from the property) is the home to the National Park Gateway Centre and the Loch Lomaond Shores and a Sea- life centre. Stirlingshire has a number of historic sites - Stirling Castle for example - and all within easy reach. By way of change of scene, it is possible to catch a train from Milngavie to the great city of Glasgow and its wonderful choice of amenities; its retail facilities are second to none and its cultural facilities enjoy an international reputation. Old Mill & River Cottage enjoy a peaceful location, idyllic for relaxing and enjoy the countryside and an excellent base to explore further a field. Gadsby manor

Room for rent in cosy house with myself and 2 playful cats. Double room with sky tv, use of netflix, amazon, Disney and movie channels in room and lounge. extra room now avalible as an add on for more guests in the group, currently under renovation. for 3rd and 4th guest book as extra person. if the second person needs that room it's £20 per booking extra that's to be paid at property. house is on quiet street and I'm slowly doing place up as not long moved in. The Granary - Dumbain Farm

The Granary accommodation is peaceful, private and has plenty parking. The rooms are spacious with a double en-suite bedroom located on the first floor. There is a private entrance only for guests. Continental breakfast is left in the fridge for you to prepare including: muesli, bread, milk, orange juice, cheese, oatcakes, fruit, homemade raspberry jam, shortbread, ground coffee and a selection of tea.
