The Donkey Dairy Cottage - Farm Stay

The Donkey Dairy is one of a kind! Nestled on the slopes of the majestic Magaliesberg, this working donkey farm is home to a variety of friendly farm animals. On your visit you will be greeted by our alpacas, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats and even camels. If you would like to replace your cell phone’s morning alarm with the crowing of roosters or replace the hooting of cars with the braying of donkeys, the solar powered Donkey Dairy Cottage is the place for you! Porcupine house

A compact house situated amongst the trees in a pecan nut orchard. This stylish unit is on the Melody Hill Retreat property - Yoga classes and kahuna massages can be arranged on arrival. Feel free to walk in the pecan nut orchard or to walk through the labyrinth. You're bound to spot monkeys, bush babies, squirrels, porcupines and lots of hornbills during your stay. Enjoy perfect winter days next to the wood-burning fireplace.

The Green Door Cottage

A warm and cozy unit, home away from home. This is a spacious two bedroomed cottage with a parking and a garden. There is an open plan kitchen/living room and dining area. There's also a dedicated work space with a desk.

Oakdene Cottage

This lovely garden cottage situated on a 7.5 acre plot with river frontage is the perfect place for a peaceful getaway. There is also a swimming pool as well as a tennis court for use. Racquets are available.
