Reconnect with nature at our unique treehouse Aframe stay near ALL of the hiking. Just minutes from downtown Marion, IL. Sporting a 7ft tube slide, sleek black exterior and natural wood tones and lighting. The Blonde is small and mighty with an airy studio feel but packed with all of the necessities of a full sized home. This stay also includes its very own nature trail! Come ready to see lots of wildlife and explore Southern Illinois! Our 2 treehouses are secluded but do share a property!

The Scout Cabin-Carterville, IL

The Scout Cabin was originally part of a group cabins from the early 1900s. Over the years, different owners have made additions and updates, but it still has some of its original structure. Now it is a cozy two bedroom house with an open living and dining area, a bonus area with an additional sleeper loveseat, and a spacious patio. It is centrally located - just one block from the center of Carterville’s downtown - and easily accessible to many Southern Illinois activities and attractions.

Country Haven

Relax in the country setting overlooking farmland while spotting the deer and foxes playing in the back yard. Enjoy quiet peaceful evenings while sitting on the patio watching the sun set over the bean fields. Just 1/4 mile away is the Lake Arrowhead walking trail. Enjoy a nature walk on the wooded trail. Enjoy home cook meals at the local family restaurant just 1.5 miles away. Plenty of yard for outside activities with plenty of shade from the giant oak tree over a hundred years old.

Sip on your favorite cocktail on the balcony or snuggle up next to the fire pit. 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom whole home sanctuary. We are walking distance to the Crab Orchard Wildlife Refuge. A short drive to the Artsy community of Makanda. and an even shorter drive to the food and fun in the college town of Carbondale, LOVE the wine trail? We are aptly located near many wineries.

Nesher Cottage

Charming and cozy sunlit tiny cottage nestled in the heart of Shawnee National Forest country. Get away from it all in a beautiful tiny cabin surrounded by trees and breathtaking views. Bring your bikes and hit the Tunnel Hill Bike Trail just down the road. Lace up your hiking boots and enjoy all The Shawnee National Forest has to offer with many hiking spots within driving distance. For boating and fishing, Lake of Egypt is only a twenty-minute drive.

Country Barn Studio

Experience a relaxing getaway in this unique studio. Enjoy swinging on the porch while sipping coffee and watching the sunrise. Listen to the birds and watch the horses, sheep and donkey grazing in the field. You are welcome to take walks around the property and fish in the pond. We are in an Amish community with horse and buggy’s traveling up and down the road. This is the perfect place to escape from city or just a getaway to relax and unwind.

Shelton’s Hideout barn apartment- 1 bed/1bath

1930s Speakeasy vibe; nestled in wooded acreage on a new flower farm, this newly constructed apartment offers the perfect escape. Whether you're here for the nearby wineries, casino, outdoor adventures, weddings or a campus visit, this retreat provides comfort and convenience. Please note that this space is located on a working farm. From time to time, there will be equipment being operated. We will do our best to stay out of the guests way.
