Bring your golf clubs and swing into the Benbow KOA to rent a cart and spend the day on the greens. 8 miles North on the 101 you will find the Avenue of the Giants with several groves to stop and hug the Redwoods. 18 miles South on the 101 you will find the Famous Drive Thru Tree, a must see with family!

The cabin and home where the host lives is on a private road, with pond, fruit orchard, and 1/4 mile walking trail to the seasonal fantastic 100 foot waterfall lookout.

As the sun dips below the Lost Coast mountains (painting the sky and redwoods in hues you've only dreamed of,) you'll realize – this is what they meant by “getting away from it all.” Watch as turkeys strut their stuff, quail play hide-and-seek, and deer gracefully navigate the meadow. And the stars! It's like visiting a planetarium, enhanced by a chorus of crickets and frogs.

Right on the Russian River, our cabin is a great getaway for wine tasting, river fun (beach, canoe/kayak/SUPs), and Healdsburg (9 min). Built in 1949, we've kept the cabin's rustic charm (the antlers and the moose mount came with the place!), but updated it with modern design and conveniences. Perfect for couples or a family.
