The outdoor firepit & bbq makes it the perfect spot to relax with platypus sighting & occasional Tree Kangaroo visit. Property has direct access to the river for a lazy arvo.

As you drive down the sealed driveway you will admire the views of the lake and distant mountains. Swim, fish, canoe or launch your tinny from the rustic boat ramp. Our A frame holiday chalet is an older cabin style property in the heart of Yungaburra village, it provides tranquillity and also boasts a log fire. This unusual and unique home is close to all the joys the Tablelands and the rainforest has to offer. The local restaurants art gallery and coffee bars are all just a short walk away.

Lakeside Loft

The Lakeside Loft is the ultimate relaxing getaway. It is a luxury pole home, nestled in the tree tops. It boasts three levels all with breath taking panoramic views of the Lake. The back yard has direct access to the lake for water sports for most of the year. We have a canoe and kayak for guest use. The closest boat ramp is located at Tinaburra which is only a couple of mins away. Yungaburra village is also a couple of mins drive and it is 15 min to Atherton and just over 1hr to Cairns.

Idriess Cottage

A self contained, one bedroom cottage with all amenities on the edge of Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands. The cottage has a verandah with bush views and BBQ. Part of a secure 1 hectare (2 acres) estate, the cottage is 200m from the main historic homestead. There is plenty to do here, including museums, bush walking and pack donkey treks, day trips to some real outback towns and other attractions, all only 1.5 hours' drive from Cairns International Airport. Breakfast supplies included.

A-frame home set amongst gorgeous gardens on the banks of Lake Tinaroo this home is perfect for a romantic getaway, family gathering or a perfect place location for a gathering. 3 bedrooms each with a Queen size bed. Main bedroom is downstairs has its own private ensuite. Lounge room kitchen, dining and laundry with 3rd toilet downstairs. 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms, with shower and toilet plus 2nd retreat lounge room with 2nd TV. Free Wifi and Netflix. Suit up to 3 couples.

High Country Hide-away

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful dog- freindly paradise. Situated on 2.5 acres, this private mountain escape comprises of a large open plan dwelling, surrounded by lush gardens and tall trees. Unwind, relax and breathe in the cool mountain air, reconnecting with nature. The sleeping arrangement is 1 queen room, one smaller double room and two double bunks for the kids in the main room with a huge projector screen to keep them entertained in the evenings.

Rest is a very practical 3 bedroom open planned home with a fully enclosed backyard. Sleeping up to 6 comfortably, including the family pet (please advise if they will be joining on) our home is in historic Yungaburra. Walking distance from shops and restaurants. A wonderful place to stay, rest, and continue on your adventure. You MUST read the “rules” BEFORE booking.
