Nasz dom znajduje się w górach Raczy, 1,1 km nad poziomem morza, więc w cieniu zawsze jest chłodno pomimo gorącego słońca. Racha jest najbardziej atrakcyjnym zakątkiem Gruzji, do którego mieszkańcy Tbilisi dążą latem. Stolica Rachi, Ambrolauri, znajduje się poniżej (10 km), na równinie, w najgorętszym miejscu w Gruzji. Ambrolauri jest zatem centrum regionu winiarskiego, w którym produkuje się słynne Hwanchkara - naturalnie słodzone wino bez dodatku cukru.
