The Goliad River House is located on 4+ acres directly on The San Antonio River. Featuring lush + cozy interior finishes, the GRH is sure to become your home away from home. Explore the "private" nature trails, fishing, cool off in the "private" pool or enjoy the man-cave/game room located in the barn, directly off of the pool area! For our more adventurous guests, kayak rentals and disc golf are right next door. The Goliad River House is walking distance to the historical downtown square!

Nueces River Retreat

Cabin with river frontage on the Nueces river approx 6 miles up river from Lake Mathis and 9 miles down river from George West. Great fishing! BE ADVISED: the main access route is currently closed for bridge rebuilding. Access to the property will be from CR 151 off Hwy 281, south of George West. This road is mostly unpaved and may be a little rough in spots (still navigable with a sedan but perhaps a little bumpy). Please bring bring bottled water for drinking - tap water isn't so tasty.

Tranquility Hill Ranch is a peaceful oasis of memories of our family and friends at the ranch. We sit on the front porch with our hot tea or coffee and watch the sun rise over bluebonnet hill. The cows will lumber up to drink while birds chirp a good morning song or the turkeys gobble from a distance. During dark nights it seems like the milky way is right over our road to the house, the stars are so bright and sunsets by a fire are a must for reviewing the day and sharing memories.

Lot's of porch sittin' is definitely in your future... enjoy the beautiful sunsets, gas grill, picnic table, and fire pit. It features a master bedroom with a king bed in the main building and a separate building with a guest room.

You’ll love my place because of the tranquility and farmhouse comfort.. My place is good for couples, families, big groups, and furry friends. ***During the months of June, July and August, it is hot in South Texas. With temperatures over 100 degrees and heat index higher. The air conditioning system will cool to 70 at night but may not keep up during the day with temperatures in the 80s. Do not book or ask to book if this is an issue for you.***

Enjoy your days sipping your favorite beverage lakefront on 1.5 acres where you can walk out to the water. You decide what your day will be whether it’s visiting and exploring Corpus Christi or San Antonio or being one with nature where you can find you: fishing, lounging on a floaty, swaying on the porch daybed with a book or just watching the birds and deer. And then to cap it all off; a beautiful South Texas sunset. (Lake levels are very low)

The Inn at Silver Oaks

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. This blazing heat enjoy the cistern, now used as a pool fed, by cool water well water. It is 26 feet in diameter and 6 feet deep. Birders will enjoy the variety of birds in this area. Just outside of the city limits, you can really enjoy stargazing.
