Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A great spot to relax, refresh and renew. Come with your significant other and enjoy a romantic or peaceful time together. Great for a parent and kid getaway too. Sleep in or get up early- enjoy time down by the pond with coffee, the varied bird life or get in our kayaks and paddle and explore the 3 acre pond. Fishing is an option. During season, there are raspberries and blueberries to pick and eat. Our chickens are good for a few eggs too.

A Chill Space! This is a one-of-a kind Cabin seated 90 feet atop the fabled 'Holy Waters' of the Kalama River. 19 acres of preserved forest with access to a gin-clear river. For 22 years Welch Cabin was 'off the grid'. In 2022 we added important conveniences; processed water from our creek, a Bio-Toilet along with a hot shower, internet and a full kitchen. To our loved pet owners, please clean up after Roscoe, keep him off the furniture, and pretty please, NO puppies .

Nothing but peacefulness at our Hidden Gem Acres yet only 10 minutes from stores, breweries, and restaurants. Many outdoor activities in the Gorge area & X-Cross. All neighbors border us by 5 acres. Enjoy the local deer, bunnies & birds. We have an equine facility with 2 of our own horses & boarders. Our friendly Australian Cattle Dog 'Buddy' will on occasion greet you. As this is our home & private sanctuary if you are expecting visitors please ask us for approval.
