Barndo on the Ridge

Barndo on the Ridge is located in north Abilene not far from downtown and close to S. 1st. The Barndo sits at the top of a hill surrounded by pure west Texas country. Get away and enjoy the peace of the country, sip coffee on the porches and enjoy a beautiful sunrise and sunset. Many wildlife can be seen near the feeders, around the property and flying in the sky. You can also get a front row seat to view the military planes as they fly over during the day practicing their flight trainings.

Let us pamper you with country. Our places are located down a farm road. We are 2.7 miles NW of Abilene, close & easy access to Dyess AFB, I-20, Hwy 277 and Hwy 83/84, navigating to anywhere in Abilene is very easy. We welcome people of all backgrounds on our farm.

Fort Phantom Lake Loft

Note: Please be aware that the lake level is extremely low due to the drought. All the outside areas are still open. Our property has a “Fun” history! Called “Fun Town” in the ’60’s, it was the cool place for fun lake activities. No longer an amusement center, we renovated the property to be a super-fun place to stay! We are very close to restaurants and shopping. Enjoy our paddleboat, hiking, kayaks and canoe, fishing, and tetherball. Bike trails, shooting range, boat ramp are nearby.

Cute waterfront house right on Lake Fort Phantom! Approximately 1500 square foot, 2 bedroom, 1 bath that will sleep 8. Washer/Dryer available in home as well as internet. Also included large screened in back porch, 2 Kayaks, fishing gear, fire pit, gas grill, gaming console and over 300 DVD's. Great fishing off the wall or down on the rocks. Public boat ramp is approximately 1/8 mile from house. Close to ACU, Hardin Simmons and Hendricks North. STRICT NO SMOKING POLICY INSIDE THE HOME.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Come stay at a house located on Lake Fort Phantom Hill. Bring your fishing poles and some bait. See what kind of fish you can catch. We are located near town but just far enough away you are able to get a wonderful space to relax in. The home has 3 bedrooms with queens beds. The 4th bedroom has twin bunk beds. There is also a sleeper sofa available to sleep more guests. Come stay and enjoy the lake.

A newly remodeled 3000-square foot home on 1 acre, sleeping 18 people, the Yellow Rose offers plenty of indoor and outdoor space. This would be a great place to have a Family Re-Union, Birthday gathering, or have your wedding party stay here. You feel that you are in the country but in reality, you are close to ACU, Hardin-Simmons, Taylor County Expo Center, and Walmart. We have made it so comfortable for people, they usually don't want to leave."
