Enjoy a cup of coffee on the screened in porch while listening to loons watching hummingbirds and fireflies. And breathe!

Beautiful Lake Home in South Eastern Ontario

Our house is a wonderful place to enjoy being on a lake. You will be staying in our home where we live with our cat when we do not have airbnb guests. When we have guests, we live in a tiny house in the backyard and are available if needed. There is no landline but cell phone service is good. Internet is sometimes slow. It is not a good fit for large groups who are noisy or families with very energetic children because we have close neighbours who enjoy peace and quiet.

The perfect place to be together at the lake and have space for yourself. 200' of shore directly on the lake which is part of the Rideau System. 5 minutes to the beautiful town of Westport. We include 10 kayaks plus a canoe, SUP and pedal boat for our guests to explore the lake.

Lyncreek Cottage is open year round. it sits on private property on Lyndhurst river in Lyndhurst, Ontario. Observe various types of waterfowl or enjoy the sound of our meandering river as it flows into Lyndhurst Lake. This is all part of the natural surroundings in your own private cottage. A great place to stay if you are travelling through the area or while enjoying all the area has to offer including excellent fishing, paddling and hiking area trails.

Cottage refreshed for 2024! Cute, basic cottage 10 feet from the shore of the St. Lawrence with spectacular sun rises and sun sets. Tour Boats, 1000 Islands Playhouse, Smuggler's Glen, zip-lining, lots of charming dining, shopping and entertainment and walking trails are all close by. If you don’t mind basic accommodations and you love water views and birds, this is your spot. There are a couple of great swimming spots close by. Canoe available.

We are walking distance to Len’s Cove Marina. This is very convenient to rent a boat, launch your own in the public boat launch or go for lunch or dinner at their licensed Galley Restaurant. Our cottage has heat and air conditioning. We can communicate in French and English.
