The charming six-bedroom house is surrounded by a lush garden and separate guest house with its own private living area, kitchenette and bedroom. It’s just minutes away from the greens and clubhouse. Start the day with a coffee at one of the outdoor dining areas on the terrace, then bring a book down to a lounge chair by the pool. Prepare lunch on the outdoor grill and enjoy the meal in the shade of the pergola-covered al-fresco dining area. After a day of sightseeing or golf, relax with satellite television and DVD player. For convenience and comfort, there’s air conditioning and Wi-Fi access in both the main house and guest cottage. Caminata’s interiors are eclectic and relaxed. The spacious living room has two seating areas, facing either the garden or fireplace, and a comfortable mix of a velour sofa, wicker wingback chairs and tufted leather ottomans anchored by beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. The traditional vibe is carried through to the dining room, which has floral drapes and vintage-style round-backed chairs, and the eat-in kitchen, which has ladder-back chairs and exposed wood shelving. Each of the villa’s six bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom; five are in the main house and one is in the guest cottage. In the main house, there are two bedrooms with king beds, and two bedrooms with two twin beds. The guest cottage has a bedroom witha king bed as well as its own sitting area, television and kitchenette. Whether you stroll through the garden of over 3,000 plants or simply relax by the pool, there’s plenty to do at the villa itself. But during your stay, don’t miss a visit to the Antognolla golf course, a 2-minute drive away, even if it’s just to have a drink at the clubhouse. The club is situated between Umbertide and Perugia in Umbria, close to Lake Trasimeno and the border with Tuscany. Take in the panorama from the recently rebuilt three-bedroom home, which has room for up to eight guests, or beautiful outdoor spaces like an Olympic-sized pool and terrace. Enjoy the unspoiled countryside and secluded location as well as easy access to a golf club and restaurant, just minutes away. Today, the villa’s tower stands watch over a large pool, plenty of chaise longues under a lovely pergola, 2 outdoor dining areas, one covered with a lovely pergola and a barbecue. Climb the tower to read, stargaze or enjoy a glass of wine on the rooftop terrace. The interiors are cozy like a private home and offer Sky TV and Wi-Fi access, as well as air-conditioned bedrooms. Beamed ceilings, stone walls and rough-hewn fireplace surrounds lend rustic charm to the living spaces at Torre. In the living room, striped sofas, a painted cabinet and an upholstered ottoman create a welcoming, cozy spot, and the bright dining room, which opens to the garden, has both wicker chairs and banquette seating around a large farmhouse-style table. The kitchen’s open wood shelving has old-fashioned character, but it’s equipped with modern appliances. Each of the villa’s three bedrooms, tucked into the tower, has an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning. On the ground floor, there’s a bedroom with a king bed, and on the second floor, a bedroom with two bunk beds has plenty of room for children. On the third floor, a bedroom with a king bed opens onto the rooftop terrace. Though the villa itself is peaceful and rural, it’s just a 5-minute drive from the Antognolla golf course and restaurant.
