Tras encontrarnos en Huerto Ribera, iniciaremos juntos un precioso recorrido por la finca, la fachada monumental de 1870, rodeada por montañas, con unas vistas increíbles en plena naturaleza. Pasearemos por los jardines del Huerto Ribera con naranjos centenarios. Caminaremos entre naranjos, conoceremos su tradicional cultivo, comparándolo con las técnicas más modernas, y veremos todas las variedades de cítricos plantadas: Sanguinelli, Citrus Yuzu, Mano de Buda, Limas, Caviar cítrico, Calamondin, Kumquats... Aprenderéis todo sobre el cultivo de los cítricos. Conoceréis su historia, los sistemas de plantación, de poda, de riego, injertos… También os contaremos la situación de los agricultores y del sector citrícola para acercaros la realidad del campo valenciano. Podréis recolectar vuestras propias naranjas o mandarinas de temporada (en temporada, de febrero a junio) y observar distintas variedades de cítricos. Fes Medina Half-day Tour with Real Fes local Shopping-free

*Tour conducted in English Fes Medina, UNESCO World Heritage site, has over 9000 alleys waiting for you to explore. Although getting lost is part of your travel experience in Fes, I recommend you to sign up our local walking tour to have a general knowledge about Fes with an organised route and professional introduction. This tour covers most of the famous historical and touristic sites. It helps you to discover Fes medina in a short time. In this half-day tour, we will spend 3 hours in the old medina. We meet up in my guest house Dar Sunrise Fes. We start the tour from the principal door Bab Boujloud (Blue gate). Then, we walk along the main street Talaa Kebira, pass by local souk, herbal shops and variety of handicraft shops. We stop to see the water clock and Bouanania Medersa in the way. Keep walking down to the street, we visit those well-known historial sites including Mosque and University Kairaouine, Andalusian Mosque, Nejjarine Fountain, Musée Najjarine. There are some remarkable markets will be also passed through. After that, we stop at place Seffarine to see bronze handicraft production and Saffarin Madrasa. Chaouwara Tannery, the largest tannery in Fes, should not be missed. *Entrance fee of historical sites is excluded *My husband Mohamed is a real Fassi. You will walk tiny alleys where people live, and narrow streets with every kind of shop and food stall. You will not see cars, but make sure to step aside for donkeys and hand carts! You will meet artisans, shop keepers, and food sellers, as we visit a bakery, weaver, hammam, apothecary, tannery, traditional clothing shop, and much more. I will share some of our traditions, history, and what makes Fés special as we go, and I hope you will ask questions! Take your time as you stop, admire, taste, and take pictures. You will see our thousand year history all around you as we find museums, schools, monuments, and the beautiful facades of mosques and shrines. We will stop for a delicious lunch at a small restaurant, the kind of place where there is no menu posted, and you may notice you are the only tourist. This will be an experience to remember.
