Cozy little cabin with kitchen, bathroom with clawfoot tub, large bay window to view woods and wildlife, and a small TV with DVD player and a few great movies all on 5 wooded acre quiet property just 3/4 mile from Lake Ouachita's beautiful twin creek recreation area and a short ride to the Lake Ouachita Vista Mountain bike and hiking trail. This area offers tons of recreation opportunities and yet has a quiet secluded feel to it. Hot Springs is just about 30 minutes drive.

Your view of the forest from the deck is really beautiful. The crystal clear water of the Caddo River is steps away and the Ouachita National Forest adjoins our property. You will be amazed at the star filled sky at night. Hiking trails and unpaved country roads are waiting to be to explored. Crystals are found in the river and several crystal mines are minutes away. The. Albert Pike recreation area and ATV trails and rentals are 15 minutes away. Missouri Falls is just a short drive away.

The Creek Cottage

The Creek Cottage is a bright and airy, open floor plan home located just 2 miles from town and 5 miles from Lake Ouachita. There is a king bed in the common area that can be walled off by the large room divider curtain. A separate bedroom has 2 large twin beds (daybed with trundle) and there is also a couch comfortable enough to sleep on if needed. One bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen complete this small gem in the woods overlooking a year-round creek.

Relax and enjoy your stay. Peaceful country setting, nice big yard, plenty of room to park, nice fire pit. Close to Big Ts country store, Ouachita River, Camp Ozark, Wagner's Crystal mines and Lake Ouachita, Wolf Pen Gap, Shady. Enjoy floating Ouachita River, boating in Lake Ouachita, and digging for crystals and more. Canoe rental and horseback riding, close by. River access and bike trails close by. Centrally located between Mount Ida and Mena AR.
