Cottage comfortably sleeps six adults with room for one baby or toddler in a travel cot in one of the double bedrooms. Our cottage has beautiful views of the countryside in all directions. Relax and unwind in peace. The cottage is newly built with all modern interior and appliances. The cottage is ideal for family getaways with all the amenities you would ever need! Entire access to the private semi-detached cottage and back garden and parking in-front. We will meet you when we arrive to let you in and we live next door so ask us if you need anything! The cottage is a short drive from the quaint village of Piddletrenthide and its 15th-century buildings. It's also a short drive from the village of Cerne Abbas's pubs and restaurants, as well as its famous chalk figure giant. The cottage is on a working farm. Our reviews say it all! We have been welcoming guests to Avon Farm since 2016. This is one of four beautifully hand crafted, bespoke shepherds huts by the renowned Greendown Shepherds hut. New for 2021 and comes with your own private, screened hot tub, fire pit, BBQ stand (just bring your own disposable BBQ) and log burner in the hut. The hut also has heating, shower room, gas hob and microwave. Set on a 230 acre farm, along the river Avon, with plenty of pubs within walking distance.

Set in 35 acres of its own land then surrounded by further farmland, there are various outbuildings mainly used for stabling . Silchester Brook meanders through the property and attracts wildlife from kingfishers and swallows to deer. There is a huge network of picturesque footpaths and cycle routes accessible from the front gate of the farm. Dogs and horses are welcome.
