It is a sustainable home designed to minimize your footprint on the environment with solar panels and rain water collection. Our cottage won the 2023 Airbnb Africa Award for Sustainability.

The house is well positioned allowing natural lighting. It's a very safe neighborhood and in addition, the property is guarded 24/7 by security guards and CCTV surveillance in all public areas.

Enjoy this spacious and serene space with views of Nyambene Hills and Mt. Kenya Forest. We are located on the edge of the forest and you may see birds, elephants and harmless lizards in our vicinity. An electric fence erected by Kenya Wildlife Service keeps elephants inside the forest. Guests are advised to book adequate days and time to cover their required stay as we are not able to accommodate earlier check-in and late checkout; other than the indicated times.
