This open-level yoga class balances movement and stillness, effort and ease, in one of the city’s most enchanting natural spaces, the University of Palermo’s botanical garden. • Reconnect with your body, breath, and being in a soulful yoga flow against the backdrop of gently rustling leaves and birdsong. • After our practice, enjoy a refreshing seasonal fruit smoothie at the garden’s restaurant, offering space for reflection, conversation, and connection. • Explore the garden’s centuries-old trees, serene fountains, a bamboo forest, a lotus grove, citrus orchards, a botanical museum, and art gallery. Whether you’re a seasoned yoga practitioner or just starting out, you’ll leave feeling grounded and re-energized after your time in one of Palermo’s most peaceful places. Please note that you will need to get your own ticket to enter the Botanical Garden, which is not included in the price of the experience. Meditate with me Trees & Crystals in the “Orto Botanico Giardino dei Semplici di Firenze”. We will meet in front of the Museum of Geology and Paleontology, via la Pira 4, walking towards the Giardino dei Semplici, where we will leave the urban environment to immerse ourselves in nature. Here we will be surrounded by Monumental Trees and beautiful botanical species. We will practice a guided meditation with Crystals and the sound of Crystal bells under special trees, each time a unique experience. You will receive a Crystal as a gift to support your connection with Nature, facilitating the therapeutic effects of meditation. I will also provide you with a small notebook to write down the sensations and thoughts that emerge. At the end, we will share the reflections together. My goal is to help you achieve a deep calm and improve concentration and mental clarity, generating a widespread sense of relief. We will connect with Nature and the Trees of this unique and special place. In particular, starting to have a deep connection with the Trees is an important means to reach that balance with Nature, which is increasingly necessary.

You’ll then be guided through the foundations of Slavic mythology, with a focus on the Bereginyas—guardians of nature and feminine wisdom. • Next, we’ll ground ourselves with a short meditation and mindfulness practice, connecting to the five elements and tuning into the body. • You’ll be introduced to the core Bereginya positions for each of the three Slavic worlds—Prav (higher world), Jav (physical world), and Nav (ancestral underworld)—along with key hand and body movements like wings, half-wings, and flower bud hands, each carrying traditional names and deep energetic meanings. • We’ll then move into a gentle, flowing dance practice attuned to the lunar day and close with a reflective moment by the sea. You will practice Yoga (Vinyasa Flow). Vinyasa represents the connection with breath and movement. Through the sun salutations, we will flow into both easy and challenging asanas; I strongly believe in adjustments and assists. During the practice, you will have space also for Pranayama (breath tecniques) and meditation. After the yoga class, you are welcome to join our light and fresh breakfast under the olive trees. If you would like to stay longer, you can enjoy the private spot on the rocks for a swim or just relax. Here at Villa Giulia you can enjoy the new four elements: Yoga, Wind, Sun and Sea :) Other things to note If you never tried yoga before or if you are an experienced practicioner, this experience will be perfect for both of you! All levels are welcome.

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from 9:30 to 10:30 am we will be doing FlighHigh AERIAL YOGA at the Beach front shala of HURRICANE HOTEL. Aerial Yoga is a complementary modality in which the student is suspended by a hanging belt. This aerial suspension helps the spine to increase the intervertebral‘s joints spaces, which translates in many benefits to the musculoesqueletal system, the circulatory, nervious and digestive systems among others... FlyHigh Aerial Yoga is suitable for all levels and age, either if you have previous yoga experience or not! Other things to note Please let Maite know about any injuries or specific conditions before your class. Aerial Yoga is suitable for everyone! But nor recommended if you are pregnant and have high blood preassure.

Wild Edibles and Medicinal Plants

You will arrive at Paço de Lanheses and you'll be welcomed by the house owner Lourenço and me. Then we will go on a walk around the farm where we will observe and feel common grounds: botany and first hand experience with some food and local crafts mingled. We will explore the many uses to these wildlings that you will be amazed of how you haven't paid attention to them before! From their craft usage, to their nutritional value, from mythology to local lore, I will share with you what treasure lies under our feet. We will collect and organize the plants we have encounter and organizing them in an herbarium manner, please bring a notepad and pen for this purpose. In the end, you can choose I to have a meal which incorporates many of the tastes of the wild species or leave without it but with a strengthen sense of curiosity and a feeling that each walk from now on will be different. * If you want the additinal option of a light meal with wild edible plants at the end of the walk please refer to it with the booking.

You will start your multi-sensorial experience by discovering and smelling the history of perfumery, the influence of the French Riviera, some of the most mysterious ingredients, and its modern, provocative tendencies. With our help and your new-found knowledge, you will then be able to create your own formula, while learning some of the tricks of the trade. You will enjoy our friendly, educational and amusing workshop while discovering our collection of rare fragrances. This initiation to perfume-making will serve also as a future tool to help you better understand, and more intelligently choose, your perfumes. We are happy to inform you that we have adapted our Atelier to host you in the safest conditions possible, respecting personal distancing and complying with all necessary sanitary recommendations.
