Just two hours from Kobe and Osaka, our guesthouse is nestled in Nishiawakura - a mountain village in northern Okayama, surrounded by the sounds of the forest and the warmth of its people. Our theme is "Taste The Forest". Enjoy a natural hot spring heated with firewood, cosy fire in your private garden fire pit, wild game dishes, and our house-brewed Hinoki craft beer. A clear river runs just in front of the house. Step into a slower rhythm of life in a small countryside village of Japan.

Surrounded by beautiful woods, it is a place to find peace within and reconnect with yourself. We have an in-house library, gallery, cafe, and prayer room/yoga space. You are also invited to live as part of our family and meet locals, including some great craftspeople, as we go about our daily lives. We are fully dedicated to the comfort of sensitive and nature-loving travellers like yourselves. Our B&B received the Okayama Award (Best Accommodation) in 2014.

When it was in the Edo era, the street was a hotel street for Samurai. There are many historical and traditional house in the street. We renovated the most beautiful house for the hotel. The house was built 100 years ago by a rich family. glass door by hand, lattice door, Japanese garden, etc, You can stay a beautiful room as if traditional museum. We have a shop on the same property. You can enjoy local food and local crafts.
