"The Roost" is rustic but not primitive treehouse 2 hrs south of St Louis near Wappapello Lake. Yes it has indoor plumbing & running water. Accommodates two adults, has a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast items are provided for you to cook. Surrounded by thousands of acres of national forest. Observe wildlife sightings from the deck while soaking in the hot tub, sleep comfortably in a queen size pillowtop Serta bed on a Motion Air base, and relax as you enjoy the ambience of the fireplace.

Trout Lake Overview, perched over an old spring-fed trout hatchery, is minutes from Clearwater Lake and a short walk to Black River. If you’re lucky, you’ll see the remaining trout come curiously to the water's surface to gaze at the world above. This cabin features excellent room for guests with plenty of parking, barbecue grills, and a fire pit. Within a minute walk from this cabin are two large fishing holes and a bike trail that follows Black River all the way to the spillway below the dam.

If you take a short stroll you can view Tom Sauk Reservoir about 23 miles away as the eagle soars and look out over Clearwater Lake. 1 free bundle of firewood & charcoal if available to me. Do you need more firewood?—U Turn Resort, cafe, pool and store about 1 mile 1/2 down CoRd 418. About 2 miles for canoe rental

About 20 minutes from Poplar Bluff. outdoor gas grill and a small charcoal grill and patio with a fire pit in a large yard. We have weak wifi . No smoking!

Wappapello Lake is a wonderful place to vacation! This newly renovated space is just 1/4 mile to the lake, short drive to grocery stores and restaurants. The list of activities includes boating, hiking, swimming, fishing, atv riding, horseback riding, concerts and more!
