Walk in along the picturesque canal, take the quirky riverboat from nearby Bathampton or catch a bus. Tucked away privately at the bottom of our large garden, beside a gentle brook, it offers a peaceful, comfortable retreat. There is a pool for summer and a woodburner for winter. And a home cinema with lots of movies for anytime! Happy to help with pointers to make the most of your stay.

Part of the SummerHouse Luxury Holiday Lets complex, Old Stables is a grand house in the middle of the Chew Valley overlooking the stunning Mendip foothills. Old Stables boast use of a heated indoor swimming pool with a hot tub, steam room & changing rooms. There are four lux bedrooms, three are en-suite, comfortably sleeping eight people with additional small pull-out beds for three, plus a pair of sofa beds for four more in our spacious reception rooms. Pictures don't do Old Stables justice!
