The Fox Den in South Main is next to the bouldering park and faces an actual fox den (which is how it got its name). It's a 2 minute walk to the Arkansas River where you’ll find miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. You'll also be just a block away from the South Main Square and only a short stroll from the shops and restaurants of downtown BV. The Den is a completely private suite attached to a main house. It has a separate entrance with a lockbox for convenient self-check in.

Warm, cozy, southwestern ranch style home 100 feet from the South Arkansas river. We built it in 2014 and it’s on 20-acres with a private drive, 900' of riverfront with a trail, superb privacy with great views; its only 3.5-miles from downtown Salida and 18-miles from Monarch. We have a big garden, and goose, chickens, ducks, and guinea fowl (fresh eggs!), and we're frequented by visits from deer, great-horned owls, red-tailed hawks, and sometimes wild turkeys and elk.
